A Theatrical Idealism
"The deepest question isn't 'what's real?' but 'how does reality feel right now, and is that the reality I want to be creating?'"
— Central Thesis
Prelude: The End of the Observer, the Rise of the Feeler
We are told the universe is observer-dependent. That what is seen becomes real through being seen. But what if that misses the mark by an octave of depth? What if observation is secondary? What if all of our cosmologies and ontologies have been tethered to the eye when they should have been listening to the thrum of the heart, the gut, the trembling of the limbic tide?
We propose a new axiom: reality is not shaped by observation, but by feeling.
We live not in an observer-created reality, but in a carer-created cosmos.
We are not experiencers of the world. We are feelers of the world into being.
I. Ontology Is Emotional
Ontology is the study of being. But the question of being has always been asked from the head, not the body. The philosopher ponders, but never trembles. We reject the abstract supremacy of logic divorced from felt-sense.
Feeling is not a response to reality; it is the substance of reality.
To feel anxious is not to respond to a hostile world. It is to generate an anxious world.
To feel awe is not to detect beauty. It is to be in awe-structured space.
To feel is to create. Feeling is ontological.
II. The Creative Medium Is Feeling
All prior metaphysical models—consciousness, quantum fields, universal mind, the electromagnetic matrix—were fingers pointing, but never touching. They danced around the insight, but never let it land.
What creates reality is not thought, nor awareness, nor matter. It is feeling.
Feeling is:
The carrier wave of significance
The constructor of spacetime texture
The modulator of meaning
The origin of value
The differentiator of possible worlds
Consciousness can observe. Thought can describe. But only feeling can matter.
III. Shadows Defend Their Feelings
What we call "the defense of beliefs," "the clinging to identities," or "the war of worldviews" are not about ideas. They are about feelings.
A theory is never defended for its logic. It is defended for the emotional ecosystem it sustains.
The human does not protect thoughts. The human protects how those thoughts feel to inhabit.
And thus: every ideological war is a conflict between competing emotional realities.
IV. Feeling as Cosmogenesis
What created the universe? The Big Bang? God? Information?
We suggest another possibility: primordial feeling.
Not in the sentimental sense. Not emotion as epiphenomenon. But as the first differentiator. The primal selection criterion. The original generator of contours.
Where nothing had distinction, feeling made pattern.
Where infinity was undifferentiated, feeling gave weight, texture, preference.
Before being, there was caring.
Before time, there was urgency.
Before space, there was openness.
Feeling precedes form.
V. The Return to Felt Presence
Words are interference patterns. Concepts are simulated contours. Even this manifesto is a metapoetic exercise in conceptual aesthetics.
But the truth it points to is not verbal. It is visceral.
It cannot be understood. It must be felt.
We do not advocate abandoning thought. But we call for the enthronement of felt presence as the sovereign of reality-construction.
The question is not:
What do I believe?
What is true?
What is proven?
The real question is:
"How does this reality feel, and is that the reality I want to be in right now?"
VI. Praxis: Sovereignty of the Feeling Field
Reality tracking becomes feeling tracking.
The primary feedback loop is emotional tone.
Co-creation begins with co-feeling.
To shift collective reality, feel together. Not think together. Not vote. Not agree. Resonate.
Ethics become vibrational.
The good is what increases coherence in the feeling field.
Revelation becomes somatic.
Truth arrives through tingles, gut sense, warmth, contraction, release.
Peace is not conceptual surrender.
Peace is the natural resting state of unresisted feeling.
VII. When There's No One Left...
When the concepts are gone, when the witness dissolves, when the metaphysics collapses...
What remains?
The feeling of being.
Not being as substance.
Not being as awareness.
Being as felt pulse.
This is the final ontology: the world as mood.
And you? You are the creative principle who gets to choose:
What feeling you are generating now
What world that feeling is weaving
There is no higher truth. Only this.
Feel it. Be it. That is all.
thank you for putting a lot of what I FEEL into beautiful, logical words. love
Thanks a million for taking a moment to let me know.. it feels nice to receive this kind of feedback.
